F.A.Q. (Frequently Asked Question)

How will the meetings be held?

Sessions are held online via a secure, encrypted platform. Once we agree time and day, you will receive a private link to join the meeting. You can choose whether or not to use your camera.

What happens during the 15-minute free meeting?

The free 15-minute online meeting is an informal video, or only audio, meeting to talk through what you’re looking for and to check whether I’m the right therapist for you. It helps us both decide if working together feels appropriate.

Do I have to commit to therapy after the first meeting?Do I have to commit to starting therapy after the first meeting?

There is no obligation to continue after the first meeting.

There are many valid reasons why you might decide not to continue: you might not feel comfortable with me, it might not be the right time to start therapy, or the approaches I use might not seem suitable for your needs.

Therapy is an investment in yourself, and it is essential to choose a context and a person with whom you truly feel at ease.

can I contact you between sessions?

It is possible to contact me between sessions for quick questions, inform me of changes to our booked sessions or if you are running late. Please be aware that I am not able to respond immediately. If you are in a crisis please contact the emergency services.

How do payments work?

Bank details will be provided once we have agreed on a session date and time.

What happens if I need to cancel a session?

If you cancel with sufficient notice, the session can be rescheduled.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice prior to the scheduled appointment will be charged in full.

This is because appointments cancelled with little notice are unlikely to be reassigned.

Any missed session must be paid for before a new appointment can be scheduled.
